Level 4
The goals of the Level 4:
- Maintain balance when changing gaits on a sitting position in the saddle
- Maintain the necessary speed on each of the gaits
- Vary the stride amplitude while maintaining the same movement rhythm
- Overcome a series of obstacles located on the same straight line
- Control the speed while overcoming a series of obstacles
- Guide the horse in the turns while performing a series of jumps
- Saddle the horse, put on and take off the rug
At this level, riders learn to overcome simple courses with a height of 60-80 cm and perform more complex dressage tests. As a rule, at this stage, riders are determined with discipline.
Depending on the chosen discipline, riders can take part in official national dressage or show jumping competitions if there are appropriate classes.
After the 4th level, the rider has a choice between amateur sports and a sports career.
