7. Athlete’s Charter

  • Sport is something we do for joy and pleasure and ceases to be sport when we do not follow the principle of fair play. A fair play is a game by the rules. There are rules of behavior in the club and at competitions. There is an ethics of athlete's behavior. And there are rules for the competition. It is very important to realize that the competition is not a war, but a noble competition of friends and sports rivals. Trying to demonstrate a better result, we no way degrade achievements of our rivals. On the contrary, we help each other  to grow, improve and share our experience with love.

  • The joy of playing sports should be in every athlete. This is important for every team, coach, horse owner, and even for the horses themselves, who we believe take pride in our sporting success and receive caring treatment from their riders.

  • Doing sports - from the heart and soul; it is not only a matter of technical qualification. However, technical qualification is necessary in order not to create stressful situations for the horse. A good athlete will never attribute his lack of training to the mistakes of the horse or other athletes. Horses, like people, are athletes. But they depend on us, and therefore we must always try to become better in order to show the best of our horse at the competition and demonstrate the results of the work of the coach who invests his experience, knowledge and soul in the athlete.

  • The right to participate in the competition belongs only to the athlete who has earned it by his patient and hard work at home, who keeps his horse, his equipment and the stable clean and tidy.

  • Good manners in sports are absolutely important. Honesty and decency of a athlete are revealed in little things and are valued the most. A good athlete shows a sensitive attitude towards others, never allows himself unworthy statements towards his colleagues. Critics can take place, but it should be expressed correctly and openly and should help to correct the situation.

  • Other athletes' horses are as important as your own ones. Not helping someone else's horse is meanness. School horses are great workers and our teachers. When working with school horses, we must value them and be grateful to them, as well as appreciate the work of the other riders who ride them, and thus educate and develop them.

  • The victories of the other athletes of the club are as important as your own. Every athlete who achieves high results multiplies the result of the whole team. Together we help each other to grow and reach sports peaks.
